You don’t have to be a bass player to enjoy the Basscast Podcast, which is full of great music reviews and interviews.

The podcast is also a fun way to focus your attention on one important element of a song — the bassline, of course!

So we were delighted to see that Basscast is finally producing new episodes again, after a brief hiatus.

Our personal favorite episode was Basscast 25, where legendary bassist Joe Osborn was interviewed.

Besides being one of the best bass players in the world and having played on over 200 Top 40 hits, Osborn discovered The Carpenters (!!) and played bass on almost all their records. What a legend!
